General surgery has 8 units with highly experienced staff.
Services provided by the Department
Outpatient services are provided on all days of the week. All new and old patients are seen and necessary procedures and investigations are done as required (Procedures like minor surgeries, dressing, upper and lower G.I. endoscopies.) Department also runs proctology and diabetic foot clinics. Department of General surgery has 240 beds wherein patients are admitted, investigated and treated. The hospital has 24 operation theatres out of which 5 are for exclusive general surgery and one OT for emergencies and 1 OT for infected cases.
