As Vydehi Institute of Medical and Dental Sciences & Research Centre celebrate its Silver Jubilee – 25 Years of Excellence, ANANTHA 2026 marks another milestone in the institution’s journey. More than a sports and cultural festival, ANANTHA is a celebration of talent, teamwork, leadership and the vibrant spirit that defines the Vydehi family.
The festival brings together undergraduate, postgraduate, super-specialty students and faculty members through healthy competition and shared experiences. Representing their respective groups with pride, participants showcase not only athletic excellence but also creativity, discipline and sportsmanship.

The inaugural celebration begins with a Mini Marathon (Campus Race), symbolizing energy, endurance and the collective enthusiasm that sets the tone for the days ahead.
ANANTHA 2026 offers a diverse range of sporting events, including football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess, kabaddi, athletics and many more. Alongside the sporting competitions, the cultural events provide a platform for students and faculty to exhibit their artistic talents, making the festival a true celebration of holistic development.
