Health emergencies happen everywhere and everyday.  ER doctors are expected to treat unscheduled and undifferentiated patients of all ages with life and limb threatening conditions. Yet medical students have only a limited exposure to this  essential, exhilarating and exhilarating field.

Emergency medicine follows a Team based approach of patient care and most of these teams comprise of Paramedics, Nurses, Emergency Medical technicians, Intern Medical Officers and Post graduate residents.

EM fundamentals is a Team based workshop organized to train all the undergraduates working in the field of Emergency Medicine. The workshop is based on the fundamental concepts of Emergency Medicine and the basic skills needed to work as a Team while dealing with the patients in the Emergency Room. The participants will go through Interactive Hands-on sessions to understand the different case scenarios, understanding the drugs and instruments including basics of ECGs and ABGs.
